BPA Glimpses of the Past

Sitting together to discuss regarding the Photography Contest & Exhibition 2013. The aim of the contest was to search out to the photographers of Barrackpore, to interact with them, to learn their experience and thereby enriching ourselves

 

 

 

 

Jury members are judging print photographs which are being displayed one after another manually. This was the first contest organized by BPA in 2013, where photographs were collected from the contestants residing in and within Barrackpore. This is also a new experience to the members of BPA. The jury members were Sri Sambhu Bhattacharyya, Sri Tapas Basu and Sri Sudip Roychowdhury

Enthusiasts are viewing the photographs at the Exhibition that went on during 15-17 February, 2013 at ‘Shilpasram’- ‘C’ Road. BPA had a motto to arouse awareness of seeing good photographs. The aim was successful due to a heavy turnout of viewers

Preparation of BPA members before taking outdoor photographs

 

 

 

 

 

Outing in broad daylight is an integral part of learning exposure, depth of field, composition, angle, light condition, making experiments of lens, panning and so on. Lensmen of Barrackpore Photolovers’ Association are in action of capturing images.

Sri Shyamal Kumar Roy, Member and Faculty of Dum Dum Photographic Association for the last 40 years had kindly consented to take classes on Indoor Photography.
