ফটোগ্রাফি করতে আমরা সবাই পারি, এর জন্য কারো বৈধতা স্বীকারের কোনো প্রয়োজন নেই। কিন্তু একটা কথা মাথায় রাখতে হবে যে, ফটোগ্রাফি মাধ্যমটি অত্যন্ত শক্তিশালী।
পিংলা-র পটুয়াদের গ্রাম
পটুয়াদের এই গ্রামে সকলেরই পদবী চিত্রকর। আদতে এঁরা মুসলমান। কোন এক সময়ে সামাজিক কারণে তাদের ধর্মান্তরিত হতে হয়।
তারপর জীবনের সঙ্গে লড়াই করতে করতে এঁরা বেছে নেন শিল্পীর জীবন, হাতে তুলে নেন রং আর তুলি।
হেরিটেজ ট্যুর- জটার দেউল, দঃ ২৪ পরগনা
বাংলার মন্দির বা দেউল ঐতিহ্যের অন্যতম হল দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনার জটার দেউল। প্রাক মুসলিম সময়ের যে ১৪–১৫টি দেউল এখনো পশ্চিমবঙ্গে বর্তমান তার মধ্যে অন্যতম হল এই জটার দেউল। ২০১৯ সালের দুর্গাপূজোর সপ্তমীতে ব্যারাকপুর ফটোলাভার্স এসোসিয়েশনের সদস্যরা এই এডভেঞ্চারে অংশগ্রহণ করেন। উল্লেখ্য, ইতোপূর্বে বিপিএ সদস্যরা অন্যান্য যেসব দেউল পরিদর্শন করেন সেগুলি হল বর্ধমানের ইছাই ঘোষের দেউল, বরাকরের সিদ্ধেশ্বর মন্দির, কালনার প্রতাপেশ্বর মন্দির, পুরুলিয়ার বান্দা, পাররা, বোরাম দেউল ইত্যাদি। এই সবকটি অভিযানের নেতৃত্বে ছিলেন বিপিএ র সভাপতি শ্রী শম্ভু ভট্টাচার্য মহাশয়। জটার…

BPA team explored Dasghara, Chakdighi, Kulingram etc. on 10.10.2016, to see age old Durga Puja and temples. Biswasbari Durga Puja From Tarakeswar, Dasghara is about 10 km distance. BPA Participation in Workshop Organized by Indian Statistical Institute
A team of six members from Barrackpore Photolover’s Association attended the 7th Workshop on Digital Pictorial Photography & Photography Exhibition, organized by Indian Statistical Institute on 13 and 14 February, 2017. The workshop emphasis on Digital Pictorial Photography by theoretical and practical lessons by the renowned faculties which ended with great success.
